Recently, Carne began to work on a new album. Legendary Philly soul producer Butch Ingram began writing and searching for new songs for Jean to sing, putting the call out to some of the top songwriters for fresh material. Studio sessions with Ingram, the first family of Philly soul, were arranged for Jean who was eager to get to work on the new project. Warming up with the band, Jean began to run through some of her old hits and playfully starting singing some favorite songs that she never got a chance to record. The results of these “warm up” sessions proved to be so good that an entire album was made from them.
