This is jazz in orientation, with snippets of Dixieland, a languid a cappella bossa nova, wistful balladry, an amazing dance remix of the Bobs' classic recording of "Helter Skelter," and a generous dollop of neo-hipster spoken word. Greene's seemingly bottomless voice sounds lived in, but he's 100% believable and more - sometimes low-down and at other times with wit as dry as a martini.
